Take It Like A Man

So truth be told - men and women deal with break-ups differently. New concept, no. Fun to watch from the side lines, Heck yea.

Here is my take. Man will always look a bit "Dazed and Confused" after a break up. As captured in this picture of Lance Armstrong and Matthew McConaughey. The two have formed this new found BBF. First publicly acknowledged when Armstrong appeared at the New York city premiere of McConaughey's Failure to Launch back in March.

I can only imagine that they cycle together, share late night dinners with one another and well ... enjoy long evenings doing who knows what.

A bit unpolished, a bit drunk and maybe even a bit caught in the act... of trolling at the Shore Club's Skybar after dining at Nobu and later the hotspot BED. They were said to have been spotted drinking and dancing. Please raise your hands if you have ever seen McConaughey dance? Doesn't need to happen.

And then there is Sheryl Crowe. Enjoying a amazing getaway with friend Courtney Cox. Now dating a new man, Cheryl has recently beaten cancer and seems to be enjoying a new life which includes snipping mimosas - poolside.

Providing a new slant on the ole phrase just TAKE IT LIKE A MAN.

Who Knew

Just Out: Failure to Launch - The new movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Austin's Matthew McConaughey.
Favorite Feature: The online quiz - So girls how can you tell if your new handsome hook-up still lives at home with the parents? ... Is hilarious and hits a little to close to home.

I particularly liked question number five "He can't go to the X-games with his friends because his father wants help setting up a new computer."

Life Note: X-games enthusiasts, X-box gamers, Real World watchers all scream RUN. Yes of course you could pull a Paula (Sarah Jessica Parker) and wedge yourself into his life and him out of his parents'/roommate's "nest". - Basic point, she was being paid...sadly you are not.

Catwalk Recap

Take a look. The gat5art event was a complete success. The new line, Made In Heaven, by Stephen MacMillan Moser debuted in front of a fabulous crowd.

The clothes, star-studded line up, art, and live music all came together to create a night soon not to be forgotten.

Total Doubletake: Yep - that is Mayor Will Wynn in loungewear.

In true New York randomness we found ourselves in the middle of the filming for the Devil Wears Prada.

The New York Time's Best Seller from Lauren Weisberger is set to debut on the big screen this June. It stars Anne Hathaway (playing the Andrea Sachs) and Meryl Streep (playing Miranda Priestly the high-powered fashion editor).

We caught Julie Jacobson and Stacey Samuels just broom kickin' it outside the Le Gararge Sale.

Don't be embarrassed self-awareness is empowering, the truth is we all see stars from time to time. Really - who can't help but to fill their short-term memory with the latest greatest finds woren on the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and Nicole Richie.
