Mercury Design Studio Gives Away the "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" Bag to Help Town Lake Trail Foundation.
Mercury Design Studio, a furniture and gift boutique located in Austin's 2nd Street District, is giving away the much-coveted "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" bag by designer Anya Hindmarch to help the Town Lake Trail Foundation.
The REINVINTAGE Line of Furniture Promotes Reuse and Recycling
mercury design studio will be raffling off 2 bags a week throughout the month of August, giving away eight bags in all. This charitable promotion coincides with the launch of the REINVINTAGE line of furniture from mercury. The REINVINTAGE line consists of vintage furniture given an extensive make-over through color and fabric to create an entirely new look. The line, which comprises about 40% of the furniture assortment at mercury design studio, was inspired by the principles of reuse and recycling.
For a chance to win the bag, customers can purchase raffle tickets for $5 apiece, with all proceeds going to the Town Lake Trail Foundation. A free ticket will also be given to customers who purchase $50 or more. Portions of these sales will also be donated. Customers must visit the store to enter, but need not be present to win.
