It pick: Shades of grey
In case you've been living under a rock, you may have noticed there's a new neutral in the world of fashion-and it's a little edgy. You guessed it-its grey, and at the risk of sounding cliché, it is the "new black" this season. Grey can be easily paired with virtually anything in your wardrobe-including other neutrals (black and grey is so chic) and loud brights (yellow and grey are simply a melancholy dream). Celebrities such as Hayden Panettiere , Ashley Tisdale, and many more have swapped out their basic blacks for the gloomy hue. Play with greys by keeping it monochromatic and layering your shades and textures (very flattering for the voluptuous gals), or shine in your metallic shades of silver and moody gunmetal, like Ali Larter in this Calvin Klein dress from his Fall 2008 Collection. Braver gals should simply throw on something grey any outfit as they walk out the door-it will compliment any shade in the rainbow, as well as any skin tone. So go on and get your grey on this winter.
